I bought Alanis these green fairy wings and she wore them every waking moment for the first few days. On the second day, while wearing the fairy wings, she and I were horsing around in the living room and she decided I needed a good punching in the guts. She was playing of course. Two things other than my daughter struck me at that moment. 1: My daughter has two very distinct sides of her personality AND 2: She punches really hard for a seven year old. I suspect that may have something to do with the fact that I have her own heavy bag set up downstairs and we do ten round workouts together. Heh, careful boys. This blonde ain't gonna be no pushover.
Anyways, I decided to try to capture both sides of her personality on camera and hence the dangly earrings, Converse Con on the right foot, the ballerina slipper on the left foot, biker jacket, fairy wings...etc, etc.
The only direction I gave her was, "Lean one hand on the door and act like you hate the world." This picture was the result. Far and away the best picture I have ever taken of her.

Hey guy - we've been trying and trying to find out how to post to this blog. I've created a blogger account, had to create my own blog page (albeit an empty one)and there still is no indication of how to post to your blog.....other than simply add a comment. I've read about team blogs, which I assume this is. . .but still not a clue. I have used many blog sites, have several up and running. . but I've never experienced such a difficult one to use. Have never seen a "team blog" before. . .as their are privacy settings, passwords etc. to every blog page. I see your immediate family has been able to post. . .but we must be missing some information. Please advise - as we'd like to participate. Uncle Rick and Maggi
